Adeyemi, who also scored against Hertha, is one of the highlights of the season at Dortmund, who in the last round of the German Championship equaled Bayern Munich and Union Berlin at the top of the table.
The 21-year-old has scored three goals and provided an assist in the German side’s last five matches across all competitions.
In addition to missing games against Hoffenheim, RB Leipzig and Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga, the striker will also be out of the Round of 16 round of the Champions League against Chelsea on March 7. In the first leg, Borussia Dortmund won 1-0 with a goal by Adeyemi himself.
