the slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogacar (UAE Emirates) won this Saturday in the fourth stage of the 69th Tour of Andalusiadisputed over 164.2 kilometers between the town of Olvera in Cádiz and the Cordovan municipality of Iznájar, after beating the Spanish in the final sprint enric mas (Movistar), a result that strengthens him in the leadership of the general with only one day to go.
The Spaniard was the only one capable of responding to the Slovenian’s attack in the last of the four mountain passes of the day, Fuentes de Cesna, but, as in the second stage, he succumbed to the top speed of the two-time Tour de France champion. The Italian Lorenzo Rota (Intermarché-Circus-Wanty) completed the podium of the day nine seconds behind the winner.
