John Kennedy receives proposal from MLS and may leave Fluminense

O Fluminense has been living with financial problems in recent years. However, the club has relieved the coffers with the sale of various jewels in the base categories, as may be the case with John Kennedy.

Apparently, the tricolors can get another injection of money in the coming weeks. That’s because, according to reporter Venê Casagrande, Chicago Fire (United States) made a proposal for the 20-year-old striker.

The player is seen as a jewel, but he had some cases of indiscipline, especially last season. In 2023, John Kennedy was loaned to Ferroviária, where he has been outstanding. According to the publication, the Americans made a proposal of US$ 3 million (R$ 15 million at the current exchange rate) for John Kennedy. Of this amount, 10% would go to Ferroviária, from Araraquara (SP), for a window fee.

The board of Fluminense has not yet commented on the matter. However, the sale of John Kennedy would pay off the back wages of players and staff.
