The situation took place on Friday, February 10, on the training ground of Ruch Radzionków at Knosały Street in Radzionków. During training, a 17-year-old player from Bytom, who is a student of the School of Sports Championship on a daily basis, collapsed and was invited to the training of the first team. Ruch Radzionków in social media informed about the course of events.

The gesture was to show support for the 17-year-old who collapsed during Friday’s training. On the occasion of the photo, there were also extensive explanations of the situation.

“One of the young players of the School of Sports Championship, who was invited to participate in classes with the senior team, lost consciousness and fell on the pitch” – we read at the beginning of the statement. “Thanks to the professional response of our physiotherapist, Wojciech Janik, who was supported by the players: Adam Baran, Bartłomiej Gwiaździński and Tomasz Harmata, the teenager managed to restore his pulse and breathing. The footballer also regained consciousness before the arrival of the emergency services, and then he was transported by LPR helicopter to the hospital, where it undergoes full diagnostics “- informs Ruch Radzionków.

Probably, the young player’s life is not in danger, but extensive tests await him, which will explain the causes of Friday’s collapse. The movement also decided to wish the 17-year-old a speedy recovery and thanked those involved in resuscitation.
