According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, last week the 73-year-old Swiss received a share of 54 percent of the company. It is noted that at the same time he became a citizen of Russia.

Alma Holding is engaged in the cultivation of premium apples using intensive technology. The company is located in the Krasnodar Territory.

In March 2022, they wanted to remove Fasel from the post of honorary president of the IIHF due to ties with the Continental Hockey League (KHL). It was noted that the functionary will not come to the 2023 World Cup.

Fasel served as head of the IIHF from 1994 to 2021. He is also a member of the executive committee of the International Olympic Committee.
