The Turkish hotel Royal Seginus called their version of the fight between the players of the football clubs “Shinnik” and “Minay”. This is reported by the Baza Telegram channel.
The hotel staff said that the athletes of both teams were very drunk. According to them, one of the Russian football players went into the women’s toilet and scared the girls there. Members of the Ukrainian team intervened in the situation, which is why the quarrel began. Then the players moved to the third floor, where they started a fight.
On February 13, the players of the Russian and Ukrainian teams staged a mass brawl at the Royal Seginus Hotel. Police and an ambulance were called to the scene. The police made no arrests, but both teams were forced to leave the hotel.
Shinnik said that the Russian players stood up for their teammate, who was attacked by the Ukrainians. In Minai, they considered that the Russians provoked the Transcarpathians, and added that they did not want to live with Shinnik in the same hotel.
