Despite the renewal, Danilo’s salary will not increase. Juventus are going through an unstable phase after being punished for financial irregularities in recent transfers. Without certainties about the budget for the coming years, the situation may have weighed on conversations with the defender.
Danilo joined the Turin team in 2019, after passing through Manchester City. For Juventus, the winger played 138 times, winning a Italian Championship, an Italian Cup and a Super Cup. This season, the Brazilian scored twice and provided two assists for the club.
