Baza: FC Shinnik players will be relocated after a fight with the players of the Ukrainian Minai
The players of the Yaroslavl “Shinnik” will be evicted from the Ukrainians after a fight with the players of the Transcarpathian “Minaj” in a Turkish hotel. This was reported by the Baza Telegram channel.
According to the publication, this decision was made at a meeting of representatives of Russian and Ukrainian teams, the organizers of the training camp, as well as hotel staff and the police. It is specified that the players of the Russian club “do not want to be in such an environment.” Athletes will be transferred to another hotel to ensure their safety.
The general director of the Yaroslavl club, Sergei Kulakov, told RIA Novosti that the Russians themselves expressed a desire to move.
Earlier on Tuesday, February 14, the players of the Russian and Ukrainian teams staged a mass brawl in the Turkish Royal Seginus hotel, where they lived at the same time. Police and an ambulance were called to the scene. Clashes still occur between players and representatives of clubs.
The press officer of the Yaroslavl team, Igor Merezhin, said that several people were injured during the brawl, but they had no serious health problems. The hotel management discussed resettlement and decided which team’s players would stay at the hotel.
