With Salah on the field, Egypt seeks a draw with Angola and advances in the African Qualifiers

This Friday, the Egypt they sought a 2-2 draw against Angola, away from home. The match was valid for the 5th round of the second phase of the African qualifiers.

Helder Costa opened the scoring at Estádio 11 de Novembro, in Luanda, at 25 of the first half. Ten minutes later, M’Bala Nzola, with a penalty, scored the home team’s second goal. Mohamed Elneny took a discount for the visitors in extra time, while Egypt’s tie came at 13 of the complementary stage, with Akram Tawfik.

With the result, the selection of Mohamed Salah has 11 points, remains in the lead of Group F and is guaranteed in the third phase. The Angolans, in turn, are already eliminated and, with four points, occupy the bottom of the bracket.

Egypt returns to the field on Tuesday, at 10:00 am (GMT), when it receives deputy leader Gabon. Angola, on the other hand, faces Libya, away from home, at the same time.
