The Ecuadorian team managed to qualify for the 2023 World Cup in Indonesia by obtaining the fourth place in the general classification at South American sub 20.

Colombia defeated Venezuela 2-1 and buried its intentions to qualify for the event in the Asian country. La Vinotinto needed a victory at the El Campín stadium in Bogotá against the local team, which qualified for the highest event in Indonesia early.

Ecuador gets a ticket to the U-20 World Cup

Brazil kept the South American title after beating Uruguay 2-0 on the final date. With a campaign in which they added seven wins and two draws, in nine games played, Verdeamarela qualifies as the best Conmebol team for the World Cup tournament to be held in May, in Indonesia.

The mini Tri joined the champions Brazil, Uruguay and Colombia as the representatives of South America at the highest event in this category. These last three teams will also participate in the Pan American Games, which will be held at the end of Chile. (D)
