On December 4, in Houston (Texas), the Salvadorans will face the Tricolor at the BBVA Compass stadium.
El Salvador’s senior team will play two friendly games in December with Ecuador and Chile in the United States, as reported on Thursday by the Salvadoran Football Federation (Fesfut).
The source indicated that the Selecta will face the Ecuadorians on December 4 in Houston, Texas, at the BBVA Compass stadium.
The game against the Chileans will be on December 11 in the city of Los Angeles, California, at the Banc of California Stadium.
These friendlies will serve El Salvador in preparation for the first games of the Concacaf tie to be played in 2022 against the United States and Honduras.
El Salvador will face Jamaica on Friday on the seventh date of the Concacaf tie and it is a decisive match for both teams that are at the bottom of the table.
Both teams have five points, but the best scoring ratio places Jamaica in sixth place and leaves El Salvador in seventh, only ahead of Honduras.
Last October, after losing to Mexico at home, the coach of El Salvador, Hugo Pérez, assured that the Selecta urged to score points in the next games to “continue dreaming” of qualifying for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Meanwhile, Ecuador, with a recent victory against Venezuela, is in the third box of the South American qualifier for the World Cup with 20 points. (D)
