Trusova admits she’s crying as she revisits her reaction to the 2022 Olympic silver in Beijing
Russian figure skater Alexandra Trusova spoke about her emotions after the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing. Her words are reported by Match TV.
“Sometimes I review the rental. When I review my reaction, of course, I cry, ”the athlete admitted. She noted that she did not want her tantrum to be captured. Trusova explained that at that moment she was offended that the forces expended on the preparation and rental did not lead to the desired result.
At the Beijing Games, Trusova won silver in the women’s singles tournament. During the competition, she set a historic milestone by jumping five quadruple jumps in the free skate. After the performance, Trusova burst into tears and declared that she hated figure skating.
In addition to the Olympic silver, Trusova has two European Championship bronzes and a World Championship bronze. She also won the junior world championship twice.
