Hooker accused Makhachev of using a banned drip before the fight with Volkanovski
New Zealand mixed martial artist (MMA) Dan Hooker Twitter accused the Russian champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) of cheating before the victorious fight with Australian Alexander Volkanovski.
Hooker said that Makhachev went to the doctors to get a drip for dehydration after the weight race, which is prohibited by UFC rules. “Dumbass thinks he can fly to Australia, hire a nurse to put him on an IV, and we won’t know about it. Rogue,” concluded the New Zealander, who lost to the Russian in a duel in October 2021.
