Carapaz did not want setbacks and he put his teammates to work to open a gap in the first kilometers and consolidate a break with nine menwhich with the passing of the 10 turns to the circuit (total distance of 178.80 kilometers) lost elements.

The three riders faced the final turns and although in the last lap the Locomotive launched a fit and managed to distance of the Cepedas, Jefferson closed the distance and closed the test with the same record.
Carapaz stopped the clock in 4 hours 11 minutes 48 seconds, followed by Jefferson (second) and Alexander in third, the same order in which the Cepeda cousins closed the individual time trial on Saturday, won by Jonathan Caicedo (EF), who after the work accomplished this Sunday for the Locomotive lagged behind
Ana Vivar, champion in ladies
the azuaya Ana Vivar (Movistar-Best PC) surprised on the day and stayed with him title in the unified category of the ladies that grouped sub-23 and elite runners.
Vivar (19 years old) managed to close an outstanding performance by winning the final stretch over Michela Molina (Federation of Azuay). Esther Galarzalast champion, ranked third.
In fourth position closed the experienced Miryam Núñez (Massi-Tactic)winner of the time trial title on Saturday, but who was unable to repeat her performance on the Sunday circuit.
The road test of the national championship was also run in the youth category, ladies and men, titles won by Heidi Flores (Team Banco Guayaquil-Ecuador) and matthew ramirez (Team Pichincha).
In the category sub-23 boys won Nixon Rosero, bank team cyclist. (D)
