Scandal. A Polish coach slapped a volleyball player during a match. He’s already lost his job [WIDEO]

The scandalous situation took place during the Final Tournament of the Junior Silesia Championships in Częstochowa. Local Norwid faced AZS Częstochowa. Norwda’s coach, Piotr Lebioda, with the score 7:7, took one of his players off the court. And then something outrageous happened.

The volleyball player, who left the playing field, sat on the substitute bench and then the coach approached him, who was clearly not satisfied with the attitude of the young player. First, he verbally reprimanded the player, then … slapped him in the face. And all this in front of other players and cameras. The Norwid Częstochowa club, which issued an official statement, has already referred to the matter. “Due to the situation that took place during the Final Tournament of the Junior Silesian Junior Championships, the Club Board took steps to clarify it in detail. The Club Board also decided to remove the coach from leading the team until the end of the investigation” – we read.

The situation was also noticed by the organizer of the tournament, during which the incident took place. The Silesian Volleyball Association referred the case to the Discipline Department, which will investigate the situation and draw consequences for the coach. “In connection with the events that took place during the final tournament of the Silesian Junior Junior Championships held in Częstochowa, the Board of the Silesian Volleyball Association declares that it strongly condemns all manifestations of aggression” – informed the association.

As he established, this is not the first scandal involving Piotr Lebioda. The trainer, while working in Gwardia Warszawa, was to attack the president of the club in the hotel. The case ended up in court.
