O Real Madrid conquered the world for the eighth time. This Saturday, in the final of the Club World Cup, Carlo Ancelotti’s team thrashed Al-Hilal by 5-3 and lifted the cup, at the Príncipe Moulay Abdellah Stadium, in Rabat, Morocco. The Brazilian Vini Jr. swung the net twice. Valderde (twice) and Benzema made the others for the Spain team. Marega and Vietto (twice) scored for the Saudis.
The Spaniards’ next commitment after winning the Club World Cup is for the Spanish Championship, on Wednesday, against Elche, at 5 pm (Brasília time), at the Santiago Bernabéu. Al-Hilal, on the other hand, faces Al-Feiha, for the Saudi Championship, on the same day, at 12 noon.

The game
Real Madrid took the lead in the 12th minute of the first half, with Vini Jr. After a good move with Benzema and Valverde, he received it on the left and sent the ball under the goalkeeper’s legs to put the meringues in advantage.
The Saudis then responded with Vietto, who sent it wide, but close to Lunín’s goal. Less than five minutes later, Valverde doubled. After Modric’s play, the Uruguayan had the upper hand in the area and at first sent it to Al-Mayouf’s goal.
Shortly after, Benzema had another chance. After Vini Jr.’s pass, the Frenchman kicked before entering the area and forced the goalkeeper of the Saudi team to defend. Al-Hilal went down after 25 minutes. In a quick counterattack, he received a free kick from Carrillo, advanced and finished low from the edge of the area to score.
Before the first half ended, both teams had more chances to score. Marega was launched into the attack, invaded the area and finished close to the Madrid goal. At 40 minutes, Valverde found Benzema in the area, gave a good cross and the number 9 wasted the opportunity.
Real Madrid doubled the score seven minutes into the second half. Vini Jr. matched with Camavinga and found Benzema in the area, who completed the goal. Afterwards, Valverde left his second in the game to make the fourth. He received from Carvajal in the small area and stuffed the net.
Al Hilal did not let it go and responded immediately. Vietto received from Abdulhamid, went through the marking and dug in to score his team’s second goal. At 23, the Madrid team scored one more. Vini Jr. he cleared the marking well, played for Ceballos and received it back to score another one.
With little time on the field, the ex-Flamengo Michael went to the bottom and crossed in the area for Vietto to make the third for Al-Hilal. In the sequence, the Brazilian made another good move, the ball was left to Marega, who sent it out. Al Mayouf even saved an Asensio shot from inside the area. In the final minutes, Rodrygo had a chance to score and ended up kicking it out.
