Despite the unfavorable conditions, the organizers made an attempt to carry out the qualifications as planned. , and then it was decided to move it to Saturday.

Before the individual competition scheduled for that day, there was supposed to be a trial series, but instead a qualification will be held. 62 competitors will take part in them, including six representatives of Poland: Dawid Kubacki, Piotr Żyła, Aleksander Zniszczoł, Paweł Wąsek, Jan Habdas and Tomasz Pilch. The last two replaced Kamil Stoch and Jakub Wolny in the team, who did poorly last weekend in Willingen.
