Tarasenko’s goal from Panarin’s pass brought the Rangers victory over Seattle in the NHL game

The New York Rangers defeated the Seattle Kraken in the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season game. This is reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.ru”.

The confrontation took place in New York and ended with a score of 6:3. The victory for the hosts was brought by the goal of the Russian striker Vladimir Tarasenko, who was recognized as the first star of the meeting. He scored the puck after the transfer of his compatriot Artemy Panarin.

For Tarasenko, this match was the debut in the Rangers. The forward scored a goal 2:49 minutes into the game. Only three players in the club’s history have done it faster: Norm Lowe in 1950 (1:00), Lane Lambert (2:28) in 1986 and Mike Ellison (2:44) in 1980.

On April 30, Tarasenko was recognized as the third star of the month in the league. He went on the ice in 16 meetings in April and scored 24 points in total (11 goals and 13 assists).

Tarasenko has been playing in the NHL since 2013. For ten years, he played for the St. Louis Blues, with whom he won the Stanley Cup in 2019. In early February 2023, the hockey player joined the Rangers.
