The game
El Nacional took the lead four minutes into the first half. Parrales received it on the right, crossed in the area and Ordoñez went up to score with a header. The second goal came in the 13th minute, with Rosales. With the advantage on the scoreboard, the Ecuadorian team sought more and three minutes later scored the third. After the wrong departure by goalkeeper Mustafá, Carillo took advantage and scored.
Shortly after, Carrillo received a good pass from the left, advanced on the marking and crossed the area. Ordoñez, free, only had the job of pushing to the net and extending the rout. At 45, Potosí reduced the scoring. Prost received from Núnez in the area and deflected with his head to score the goal for the Bolivian team.
Before the first half ended, El Nacional scored the fifth. Solíz received it through the middle, invaded the area, cleared the scoring and beat the goalkeeper to score another goal. In the second half, at 45 minutes, Asprilla scored El Nacional’s sixth goal and closed the rout.
