The game
The first half did not have many chances. Porto only had a good arrival in the 30th minute, with Danny Namaso, after a good touch by Pepê, but Gril made the save after a low shot. In the second half, the Dragons soon found the way to the goal. After a good move by João Mário, Uribe crossed in the area and André Franco went higher than the defense and scored.
Viseu tried to respond shortly afterwards, but saw the defense move away. On the counterattack, João Mário made a good pass to Namaso, who finished dangerously for Gril’s defense. Gradually, Viseu squeezed Porto in search of a draw, but was unsuccessful in completing the moves.
In the 40th minute, the Viseu goalkeeper had to make one more save to avoid Porto’s second goal, after a deflected header. In the final stretch, the home team suffocated Porto, which managed to hold on to the result.
