The visiting team evened the score 48 minutes into the second half, with Habib Diallo.
Senegal saw the ace Sadio Mané, from Liverpool, to get hurt at the 28th minute of the first half. Boulaye Dia took the attacker’s place.
With the tie, the Senegalese continue to lead Group H, with 13 points. The Togo team, which has five, occupies the second position in the key.
Already classified for the third phase, Senegal returns to the field on Sunday, at 4 pm (GMT), when it hosts Congo. Togo, in turn, will face Namibia, on Monday, away from home, at 10:00 am.
