Adrianna Su³ek’s record result. The best in the world

Adrianna Su³ek has been one of the top decathletes in the world for several months now. The 24-year-old won the world vice-championship in indoor pentathlon in March, and in the summer she became the vice-champion of Europe in heptathlon. She was fourth at the world championships in Eugene. Now the Polish woman has opened the 2023 competition very well.

On Sunday in Tallinn an athletics meeting was held, during which a brilliant result in the pentathlon was achieved by Adrianna Su³ek. The Polish representative scored 4702 points, which is the best result this year in the world. It is also the sixth result in the history of the Polish pentathlon. It is worth adding that the 8th place was taken by Julia Słocka (4045 points).

Su³ek also achieved very good results in particular stages of Sunday’s competition. She finished the 60 meters hurdles in 8:38 and ran the 800 meters in 2:15:34. In the high jump she reached 1.82 meters and pushed the ball to a distance of 13.49. However, she gave a real show in the long jump, where she reached 6.50 meters. This is the best result this season on Polish lists and a new personal record for a 24-year-old woman.

The European Indoor Championships will start almost exactly in a month. The competition in Istanbul will take place from 2 to 5 March.
