This is what the Ekstraklasa table looks like after Saturday’s matches

The 19th round of the Ekstraklasa started on Friday, February 3 and will end on Monday, February 6. Important matches for the league table were scheduled for Saturday, in which the favorites turned out to be better. There were a few changes in the midfield.

In the first game on Saturday, Raków Częstochowa played at their own stadium against Piast Gliwice. Thus, Marek Papszun’s team added three points and already has 45 of them, thanks to which they lead the league table. Piast has 17 points and remains in the relegation zone.

At 17:30 the clash began in Zabrze, in which Górnik played Lechie Gdańsk. Before the game, both teams were adjacent in the table with 20 points. The first half was torpedoed for half an hour by snowfall. After returning to the pitch, there were several controversies, and Szymon Włodarczyk scored a penalty kick for the hosts in added time. Lechia equalized the match in the 71st minute thanks to Łukasz Zwoliński and this was the result of the clash. Both teams have 21 points. Górnik is 11th and Lechia is 13th.

Saturday’s game ended with the match between Zagłębie Lubin and Legia Warszawa. The visitors took the lead in the 37th minute when Josue’s pass was converted by Paweł Wszołek. Legia controlled the game and the situation did not change after the break. Just a quarter of an hour into the second half, Kosta Runjaic’s side were leading 2-0 thanks to Ernest Muci’s shot and Josue’s second assist. Zagłębie was able to start a fight, which resulted in a goal by Łukasz Łakomy in the 69th minute. The match ended with the result 2:1 for Legia, which already has 38 points and is ranked second in the table. In turn, Zagłębie has 20 points and is in 15th place. Piast Gliwice is behind the players from Lubin.
