Coach Vikki Hill Says Walking Can Help You Shed 1 Pound A Week
British fitness trainer Vikki Hill has named a simple method that will help you lose half a kilogram of excess weight per week. It is reported by the Daily Mail.
According to the expert, the key to losing weight is walking 10,000 steps a day, which burns about 500 calories. In a week, the amount of calories burned will reach 3500, which is equivalent to 0.45 kilograms of fat. “Normal daily movement requires energy, so without endless intense exercise, we can still move and burn calories without exhausting ourselves,” Hill said.
Earlier, the director of the fitness club, Eva Peña, called the benefits of exercising barefoot. She noted that training without shoes helps increase the stability of the legs and body, as well as improve coordination. Trainer Dave Mays added that beginners should start exercising by walking barefoot for five minutes a day around the house.
