The specialist noted that she would not like to see this system in her sport. “Football will suffer because of Fan ID. People should be free to come and watch sports. In the same place, and so everything is in the cells, why do you need something else? It so happened that football took a hit on itself, ”said Tarasova.
Last September, CSKA goalkeeper and captain Igor Akinfeev criticized the introduction of Fan ID. “I understand the fans for one simple reason. Everyone does not want to once again provide some of their data. A fan must be at the stadium. Let him curse you, laugh, but without this there is no football, ”he said.
The State Duma adopted the law on Fan ID in December 2021. To enter the stands for matches of the Russian Premier League (RPL), each fan must have a personalized spectator card, which cannot be issued remotely. In response, active fans of RPL clubs, except for Akhmat, announced a boycott of league matches.
