PSG is trembling before the match against Bayern Munich. Kylian Mbappe injured

Kylian Mbappe cannot count Wednesday evening as successful. In the 8th minute the referee awarded a penalty kick which he missed. And even though he had two attempts to do so – the referee repeated the first eleven. Less than ten minutes later, the PSG leader had to leave the pitch due to injury.

Kylian Mbappe is out due to injury. It is not known whether he will make it to the match against Bayern Munich

Immediately after the game, which PSG won 3-1, coach Christophe Galtier insisted that the star’s injury was “not serious”. On Thursday, the player underwent a series of tests and it turns out that he may be out of action for much longer than expected. L’Equipe reports that Mbappe’s injury is “concerning” and could take up to three weeks to heal. “New, additional tests will clarify the severity of his injury and the exact duration of his absence. This is not good news for the player,” we read in turn in “Le Parisien”.

For the Parisian team, it was a real drama, because on February 14, they will face Bayern Munich in the 1/8 finals of the Champions League. It is known that Mbappe will miss matches against FC Toulouse, Olympique de Marseille and AS Monaco. After the last of these clashes, there will be a confrontation with Bayern and it is not known whether the player will be available.

French journalists point out that in the past Mbappe has shown an extraordinary ability to recover from injuries and therefore his appearance is not ruled out. It is not known, however, whether the PSG training staff will be willing to risk it. It is possible that Coach Galtier will want a striker in full health for the return match scheduled for March 8.
