MMA fighter Monson agreed with the statement of football player Kokorin about the benefits of prison for a man
Russian and American mixed martial artist (MMA) Jeff Monson appreciated the words of the attacker of the Cypriot “Aris” Alexander Kokorin about the benefits of prison for a man. His words are quoted by Sport-Express.
The athlete agreed with Kokorin, saying that prison could be a good experience for a man. He recalled how he spent three months in prison in the United States, and did not regret it. “Prison changes people so that they begin to appreciate life. I remember when I first came out, I began to look at food, family, freedom differently, ”added Monson.
On February 1, Kokorin said that he did not regret having a criminal record. In his opinion, every man should serve time in order to feel the school of life.
In 2018, Kokorin with his younger brother Kirill and another football player Pavel Mamaev staged two fights in the center of Moscow. As a result of the incident, the athletes were convicted and spent ten months in a pre-trial detention center and two more in prison, after which they were released on parole.
In May 2018, Monson received Russian citizenship. The American is known for his performances in MMA and grappling. He has 60 wins and 26 losses in mixed martial arts.
