Sterling is outraged by Ian being one of the best MMA fighters in the world

American mixed martial artist (MMA) Aljamain Sterling has responded to the updated ESPN ranking of the best in sports. The American shared his opinion in his Twitter.

Sterling was outraged by the fact that Ian was included in the rating of the best MMA fighters in the world. The Russian finished seventh after defeating Corey Sandhagen. “That’s just funny. Ian spent 25 minutes defeating the guy I beat in 88 seconds. Now the interim champion is in seventh place! The rating compilers are real clowns, ”Sterling wrote.

Ian fought Sandhagen at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) tournament in Abu Dhabi on October 30. Initially, the rival of the Russian was supposed to be the current champion of the organization in the lightest weight – Sterling. The American withdrew from the fight, citing health problems.

Ian lost his belt to Sterling in March. Then the Russian lost by disqualification, inflicting an illegal blow on a lying opponent.
