Hakim Ziyech’s loan to PSG fell to the ground after Chelsea sending the wrong documentation to the French club, which meant the deal was not closed before the end of the transfer window.
After passing on an erroneous loan agreement, Chelsea sent an unsigned document twice to PSG last night. Due to lack of time before the closing date of the market, the transfer of Hakim Ziyech could not therefore be approved. https://t.co/a8pgmifYBP pic.twitter.com/ZWpJWQCoch

Neymar’s team even tried to appeal and appealed to the French Football Federation, but the same was denied by the entity. Ziyech seemed very close to being announced by PSG, now the Moroccan will have to wait another 6 months to change clubs, and the Parisian team will not be able to reinforce its squad for the final stretch of the season.
According to L’Equipe, the loan did not materialize, as Chelsea sent a document incorrectly to PSG twice in a row on the last day of the window. The first time, the paperwork contained an error in its structure, the second time there was no signature of the English club. When it was sent a third time, it was too late.
Ziyech arrived at Chelsea in 2020 for 33.5 million pounds (R$ 209 million), after excelling at Ajax. However, his time at the English club was extremely lackluster and inconsistent.
In the current season, the 29-year-old Moroccan has only 10 games and an assist for the Blues. After having a beautiful World Cup, leading his country to an unprecedented semifinal, Ziyech expected a transfer to try to maintain the good phase.
