O Barcelona transferred right-back Héctor Bellerín to Sporting of Portugal, announced the two teams this Tuesday, a few minutes before the closing of the market.
“Barcelona and Sporting Clube de Portugal have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Héctor Bellerín,” Barça said in a statement posted on their social media.

Sporting have specified that the Spanish player has a contract until the end of this season. None of the clubs disclosed the value of the transfer.
Bellerín, who joined Barcelona last summer after leaving Arsenal, failed to establish himself in the Catalan team. In these months, the right-back made just seven appearances for Barça.
This Tuesday morning, Barça coach Xavi Hernández had already announced the departure of the player.
“Perhaps Héctor Bellerín will leave. He asked us to leave to play more, which I understand perfectly,” Xavi said at the press conference ahead of Wednesday’s game for Spanish Championshipagainst Real Betis.
Bellerín is the second player to leave Barça in this transfer window, after Dutchman Memphis Depay was signed by Atletico Madrid.
