The new Barcelona coach, Xavi Hernández, has already defined his first market targets, however, one of them already belongs to the Spanish team. It is Francisco Trincao, the Portuguese, only 21 years old, who is on loan at Wolverhampton, from England.
Trincão arrived at Barcelona in early 2020. At the time, the coolies spent 31 million euros (about R$197.3 million) to get him out of Braga, in Portugal. Under the command of Quique Setién and Ronald Koeman, the player played in 42 matches and scored just three goals. With few opportunities, Barça decided to lend it to the Wolves at the start of the current season.
According to the portal Transfers, Xavi was interested in the young man due to the prominence he has been having in Bruno Lage’s team. The forward beat Adama Traoré and Daniel Podence and has been important at the English club.
Barcelona lacks parts like Trincao. In recent games, for example, right-back Sergiño Dest was being improvised as a winger.
The Catalans enter the field on the 20th, in a derby against Espanyol, at 17:00 (GMT).
