According to the Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle made a proposal of 20 million euros (R$ 111 million) for Matheus França. The English have already been seeking an agreement with the Carioca board in recent weeks.
However, the red-black leaders denied the British proposal. Flamengo’s thinking is only to negotiate Matheus França for an amount greater than 25 million euros (R$ 140 million).
The European window closes this week. Flamengo is adamant in values, especially after the sale of João Gomes.
