The game
At five minutes, the Brazilian Vanderson wasted the chance to open the scoring for Monaco. The full-back received it in the area and sent the ball outside, close to Blanco’s crossbar.
Monaco then took the lead in the 17th minute. After a free kick, Veretout tried to take it and ended up sending it against his own assets.
