Beterbiev answered the question about the possibility of a fight against Usyk

Russian boxer Beterbiev said he was ready to fight with the Ukrainian Usyk

Russian boxer Artur Beterbiev answered a question about the possibility of a fight against Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk. His words are quoted by Sky Sports.

“Am I ready to fight Usyk? No problem. If you organize a fight. He is successful. And he did a good job. He is a good fighter and has achieved a lot,” said Beterbiev. At the same time, he noted that he does not follow Usyk’s career.

In June, Beterbiev defeated American Joe Smith Jr. by TKO in the second round ahead of schedule. The Russian defended the titles of the world champion according to the International Boxing Federation (IBF), the World Boxing Council (WBC) and won the belt of the World Boxing Organization (WBO), which belonged to his opponent. In total, in his career, Beterbiev, who competes in the light heavyweight category, won 18 victories without suffering a single defeat.

Usyk has 20 wins in 20 fights. He holds the WBO, IBF, International Boxing Organization (IBO) and WBA Super heavyweight championship belts.
