kobe goosens (Intermarché-Circus-Wanty) has conquered its second consecutive victory in the Mallorca Challenge to the win the Serra de Tramuntana Trophy which was held this Saturday, January 28, starting and finishing in LLoseta (123.2 km).
goosens, what obtained his first victory in the Andratx-Mirador des Colomer Trophy On Friday, he used a time of 2 hours, 55 minutes and 7 seconds to cover the 123.2 kilometers of the test. The podium has been completed by two other Belgian-born cyclists; specifically, Lenner van Eetvelt (Lotus Dstny) e ilan van wilder (Soudal-Quick Step).
The winner of the test forged his triumph by escaping 3.1 kilometers from the finish line from a group made up of Andrea Bagioli (Soudal-Quick Step), Lilian Calmenaje (Intermarché-Circus-Wanty), Hugh Carthy (EF Education-EasyPost) , Alessio Martinelli (Green Project-Bardiani CSF-Faizanè), Brandon McNulty (UAE Emirates) and Harrison Sweeney (Lotto Dstny).
He knew how to risk Goosens at the right moment in some very adverse weather conditionswith intense cold and rain, which had forced the organizers of the Challenge Mallorca to cut the route from 155.5 kilometers to 123.2to avoid the snow that was curdling 200 meters above.
