Russian mixed martial artist (MMA) Magomed Ismailov expressed his desire to fight again with Vladimir Mineev. His words are quoted by MMA Metaratings.
“I think we would come out, make good money and put an end to it. In a cage or in a ring? Wherever he wishes. I lost in the last confrontation, so I give him a choice, ”Ismailov said. He added that he considers himself the winner of their first fight, but only the second lost fight matters to him.
In October 2021, the fighters fought at the AMC Fight Nights tournament. Then Mineev defeated Ismailov by knockout and defended the belt of the organization’s middleweight champion. Earlier, the athletes had another fight under the rules of MMA, which ended in a draw.
In total, Mineev won 17 victories in MMA with a single defeat and one draw. Ismailov spent 22 fights, in which he won 18 victories and lost three times, one fight ended in a draw.
