The Guayaquil will have his second presentation in 2021 with the Ultimate Warrior Challenge México company.
Andrés Luna Martinetti will have his second presentation in 2021 with the Ultimate Warrior Challenge México (UWC) company, now in bantamweight, for the event to be held on Friday, November 26.
The Guayaquil fighter was in action on August 13 at UWC 28, a function that was held at the Entram Gym facilities, in Tijuana (Baja California), the same site for the next edition of the company.
On that occasion he hit gloves against local Francisco Benítez (6-6-0) and needed 4:17 minutes to remain undefeated and score his first win in North America.
“It is an honor to sign a contract to fight with UWC again, there is a lot of excitement right now at Entram Gym for my teammates signed in the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) and to know that this company opens the doors to those opportunities.
“I feel very good in my camp, in August he had a fight and I felt very good, in the last event I was on my brother’s corner, and if they had asked me, that night I was ready,” said Luna, according to a Press release.
At 26, he has had a distinguished career with eleven victories achieved, without knowing defeat, and has become one of the main prospects in the Tijuana gym, after emigrating in the first half of the year from his native Guayaquil.
“Five of my teammates signed with the UFC in these months, and all of them were in the UWC, so that fills me with even more enthusiasm for my commitment to UWC 30, whoever the opponent is. The other time I was a little nervous because it was my first fight in these directions, I had a strong rival, but everything went according to plans and I expect a similar result in a couple of weeks, “he added.
Luna Martinetti’s duel will be at bantamweight, three rounds of five minutes each and, like the rest of the evening, it will be sanctioned by the Boxing, Wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts Commission of Tijuana.
Ecuadorians Javier Basurto (lightweight), a UWC debutant, and Aarón Cañarte (featherweight), who is on his second win in the company, will also have action.
The stellar fight of the night will be in the 170-pound division when Mexicans Alfonso Leyva (4-0-0) and Alberto Galera (2-1-0) meet three in combat. rounds.
Also in welterweight will rise the Venezuelan Leonardo Blasco (15-4-0) and the Honduran Walter Luna (9-3-0).
UWC 30 will be on Friday, November 26 with a total of nine professional fights to be broadcast from the Entram Gym facilities, in Tijuana, Baja California, with programming starting at 5:00 p.m. local time (7:00 p.m. from Ecuador) by UFC Fight Pass and preliminaries from 3:00 p.m. local (5:00 p.m. from Ecuador).
