Atlético CEO Miguel Angel Gil Marin has accused Real Madrid of years of pressure on referees. His words are quoted by the official website of Atlético Madrid.
“Those who make decisions know what awaits them if they harm them [“Реалу”] mistake. Campaigning against those who, in their opinion, harm them is a common occurrence, ”the functionary said. He added that he was not looking for excuses for the failures of his team, however, he noted that the refereeing decisions in the Spanish Cup match against cream hurt Atlético’s players.
