Santos is the most famous name to work with our staff since Leo Beenhakker. Or maybe throughout history. From 2014, Santos worked with the Portuguese national team, with whom he won the European Championship two years later. In 2019, Santos also led this team to victory in the Nations League.

The amount is shocking (the media speculated that Santos could earn up to EUR 2.5 million – ed.), because we have never dealt with this type of financial gratification. We have to hope that the current variant will pay off and the coach will pay off with work – he concluded.
Santos will make his debut in the role of our team’s coach on March 24 in Prague, when we will play the Czech Republic in the Euro 2024 qualifiers. Three days later we will host Albania.
