O Paris Saint Germain is willing to talk to his Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas if he wants to leave the club, but no decision has yet been taken, manager Christophe Galtier explained on Friday.
“Keylor is a great competitor, exemplary at work since the beginning of the season, he was chosen to be the goalkeeper of the French Cup, I have complete confidence in him”, guaranteed the coach.
“But we have to see what he feels and I know that the sports direction is following it. For the good person that Keylor is and for his career, we must respect him, listen to him, although today no decision has been taken about his future”, added Galtier in a press conference before the match against Reims, for the 20th round of Ligue 1.
Reserve for the Italian Gianluigi Donnarumma in the French Championship and in the European Champions League, the Costa Rican goalkeeper would have agreed to sign with Nottingham Forest, published the French newspaper The team.
Asked several times about PSG’s performance in the transfer market, Galtier did not comment on Lyon player Rayan Cherki. He only insisted that the club “want to compensate for the right-wing exit”, in reference to Pablo Sarabia, who was signed by Wolverhampton.
As for Inter Milan’s Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar, he said he had not considered signing defenders.
