The final of the professional championship of football of the United States is one of the most celebrated sporting events in the North American country. Tens of thousands of fans join each year to witness the last game of the season and enjoy a halftime show with live music, fast food and bars.

The super bowl is the name given to the party that culminates in the National Football League (NFL)also known as Super Bowl, in Spanish.

This year, the Super Bowl will take place on February 12 at the State Farm Stadium of the Arizona Cardinals, in the city of Glendale, which has capacity for 78,600 spectators and has already held the final of the competition in 2008 and 2015.

Chris Stapleton, country singer-songwriter, will sing the national anthem at the game. Pop star Rihanna will be the main entertainment of the halftime show.

The match will be played at 4:30 p.m. Glendale, Arizona time (6:30 p.m. Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, and Peru time).

One of the novelties of this year’s competition is that Pepsi is no longer the sponsor of the halftime show, giving way to Apple Music.

On the subject of television broadcasting, although the television rights for this edition of the SuperBowl went from NBC to Fox in the United States, for Latin America, everything will remain the same and it will be the cable channel ESPN that allows viewing the broadcast on alive. (D)
