Alexander Mostovoy called Fenerbahce an interesting option to continue Dzyuba’s career
Former Russian national team player Alexander Mostovoy considers the Turkish Fenerbahce a good option to continue the career of Zenit forward Artem Dziuba. The footballer assessed the possible transfer in an interview with Championship.com.
“If we talk about the Turkish championship, it is of a fairly high level, and the teams are good there. Who knows if he can become the leader of the attack there, ”said the legendary national team player. Mostovoy added that Dziuba, when choosing a team, will primarily take into account financial conditions and comfort.
Earlier, on May 16, it became known that Dzyuba refused Red Star because of his unwillingness to play in the Serbian championship. It was noted that two clubs claim the player: from Russia and from Europe.
Dziuba has been with Zenit since 2015. As part of the St. Petersburg team, he became the national champion four times. In the current season of the Russian Premier League, the striker scored 11 goals in 26 matches.
