The already champion Bayern Munich visited Wolfsburg this Saturday and ended up in a 2-2 draw, in a game valid for the last round of the German Championship.
The Bavarians dominated the first half and scored in the 17th minute, with a header from young defender Stanisic. At 40, the team expanded with star Robert Lewandowski, in what may have been his last appearance for the club. That’s because, before the ball rolled, Bayern’s sporting director confirmed the Pole’s desire to leave the team.
There was still time for the home team to reduce the marker in the final stretch of the first stage. At 45, Jonas Wind dominated with class and kicked goalkeeper Neuer into the corner. In the second half, Max Cruse completed a cross in the area and equalized the confrontation.
Haaland’s Farewell to Dortmund
In addition to the Bavarian team, Borussia Dortmund entered the field and beat Hertha Berlin, 2-1, in a comeback. The duel marked the farewell of striker Haaland, who agreed to transfer him to Manchester City, from England. The Norwegian, who won an FA Cup title and scored 86 goals in 88 games for the team, was honored.

Qualified for European competitions
Bayer Leverkusen defeated Freiburg, 2-1, and RB Leipzig didn’t get out of the draw with Arminia Bielefield, 1-1. The results gave the teams a spot in the next edition of the Champions League, alongside Bayern and from Dortmund.
Union Berlin, who defeated Bochum 3-2, reached the fifth position and won the qualification to the Europa League next season. Despite being overtaken, Freiburg, in sixth, will also compete in the continental competition.
Cologne, in seventh, were beaten by Stuttgart 2-1, but secured a spot in the qualifying phase of the Conference League.
Fight against sticking
Already in the fight against relegation, Arminia Bielefield joined Greuther Furth and had their relegation confirmed. With the triumph, Stuttgart pushed Hertha Berlin to the third-to-last position and got rid of sticking.
Hertha will now play a playoff for a place in the national elite against the third-placed German second division, Hamburg or Darmstadt. The opponent will be defined this Sunday, when the last round of the competition takes place.
