Scientists talk about the impact of minor loads on life expectancy

Scientists have proven the positive impact of minor loads on life expectancy

Scientists at the University of Sydney have proven the positive impact of minor physical activity on life expectancy. It is reported by Nature Medicine.

Studies have shown that light physical activity, such as climbing stairs or outdoor games with children, reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease by an average of 50 percent, and cancer by 40 percent. It is clarified that three periods of activity per day lasting 1-2 minutes are enough for this.

“You can just pick up the pace while walking, or do chores with a little more energy,” said study lead author Emmanuel Stamatakis.

Previously, British scientists said that an additional six-minute intensive training improves brain function and helps a person to better cope with cognitive processes. Replacing intense activity with light activity or inactivity, on the contrary, has a negative impact.
