Daily Mail: Mike Tyson sued for $5 million in rape case

Former boxing champion Mike Tyson has been accused of rape for the second time. It is reported by the Daily Mail.

The woman, who has not been named, said she met the boxer at a nightclub in Albany in the early 1990s, according to the outlet. She did not specify the exact date of the attack. According to the alleged victim, Tyson offered to give her a ride with his girlfriend in his limousine, and then raped her. The woman demands to recover five million dollars from the ex-athlete.

In 1992, Tyson had already been sentenced to three years in a rape case against Miss Black America winner Desiree Washington. In 1999, he again went to prison. The boxer spent three and a half months in prison for beating two elderly men who got into an accident due to Tyson’s fault.

The American retired in 2005. From 1987 to 1990 he was the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. Tyson spent 58 fights in which he won 50 victories (44 by knockout) and suffered 6 defeats. Two more fights with his participation were declared invalid.

On January 20, the most titled football player in the world, Brazilian Dani Alves, was arrested on charges of rape. The 39-year-old player faces 4 to 12 years in prison.
