Together with Gennady Karponosov, she became the Olympic champion in 1980. The couple also has two victories at the World and European Championships. After the end of their sports career, athletes worked as coaches in the United States. Under their leadership, Tatyana Navka and Roman Kostomarov became Olympic champions.
