According to the source, 66-year-old Linichuk, who left to live in the States in the early 1990s, returned to her homeland. It is noted that she was present at the First Channel Cup in Moscow on January 21.
Together with Gennady Karponosov, she became the Olympic champion in 1980. The couple also has two victories at the World and European Championships. After the end of their sports career, athletes worked as coaches in the United States. Under their leadership, Tatyana Navka and Roman Kostomarov became Olympic champions. In 2014, the couple divorced.
