Former UFC champion Francis Ngannou asked for ten million dollars for a fight in Russia
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has named the desired fee for the fight in Russia. This was told by the Russian fighter of the mixed style (MMA) Soslan Asbarov “Sport-Express”.
Asbarov said that during negotiations with the Hardcore Boxing league, a potential rival asked for an unrealistically large amount for a fight. “I don’t think he even saw such sums in his eyes. Negotiations were held, a contract was sent, the answer came – three times more than the proposed amount. Ten million dollars, ”the Russian shared and came to the conclusion that Ngannou is not worth that kind of money.

The heavyweight won the championship belt against American Stipe Miocic in March 2021. In January 2022, he defended his title for the first time, defeating the Frenchman Cyril Gan, after which he did not enter the octagon due to knee surgery.
