Juventus coach for the first time assessed the punishment for the club for financial fraud

Coach Allegri says Juventus will continue to struggle after losing 15 points in Serie A

The head coach of Turin “Juventus” Massimiliano Allegri for the first time estimated the punishment for the club for financial fraud. His words are quoted by Pazzi di Fanta.

The coach said that the situation after the club lost 15 points in Serie A does not change, as the team will continue to fight for every victory. He called the litigation a matter for management, which will appeal. “What will happen next, we will think later, but for now we will try to reach seventh place,” Allegri emphasized.

Earlier on January 21, the Italian Football Federation Court (FIGC) punished Juventus in a case of financial fraud. The team was deprived of 15 points in the Italian championship, which is why it now ranks tenth in the standings with 22 points.

In November 2022, President Andrea Agnelli and most of the Juventus leadership resigned. Then they were accused of overestimating the transfer cost of the players, as well as understating the cost of employees and hiding the true size of the salaries of the players.
