After the competition, the three-time Olympic champion was in a good mood, which he confirmed during an interview with Eurosport. The Zebu Hopper suggested that he start playing… the lottery. – I think I’m going to play darts, because I have no luck in this discipline – he admitted with a smile.
Moments later, he got serious about his score. The Pole was pleased that he once again made solid jumps. – I’m in eighth place in a tough competition. I will not complain about the conditions, because everyone saw how it was. Still these jumps are very good, but without super energy. On Saturday, however, they were really very solid.

The eighth jumper in the general classification of the World Cup indicated that he fully trusts the staff and hopes that he will also be in great shape during the world championships in Planica. – I hope so. I trust the whole training process because I feel good physically all the time. Now I’m trying to put everything in order mentally so that I feel confident in this respect as well. This is very important, he concluded.
Saturday in Okurayama was special for Stoch. Not only did he make his 400th individual appearance, but he also surpassed Adam Małysz in terms of the total number of points won in World Cup competitions throughout his career.
