President of “Torpedo” Herkus said that the team will not sign a contract with Dziuba
President of the club of the Russian Premier League (RPL) “Torpedo” Ilya Gerkus answered the question about signing a contract with striker Artem Dzyuba. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
Herkus said the team had changed their mind about inviting the 34-year-old striker. “The issue of Dziuba is closed. “Torpedo” is considering other candidates for the position of the central striker,” he explained.
On January 17, it was reported that Torpedo wants to sign a contract with Dzyuba in the coming days. At the same time, the player expressed his willingness to reduce financial requirements.
From August to November 2022, Dzyuba played for the Turkish Adana Demirspor. As part of the team, he played five matches in which he scored one goal. The football player decided to terminate the contract with the club because he did not receive enough playing time.
